Why aren't you open Monday through Thursday?

We are a wholesale bakery providing desserts to local eateries around New Jersey, so we spend the start of our week on wholesale production for weekly delivery. While our retail shop is closed Monday through Thursday, we are still inside baking daily, so you can call any day with inquiries. Bakers are in the bakery working 7 days a week ready for your call. We also have special hours on all holidays that do not fall on a weekend day. If a holiday falls on a Monday-Thursday, we will be open for you!


Can I pick up a pre-order any day of the week?

Yes, absolutely! We offer pickup for pre-orders 7 days a week. We typically need 3-5 days lead time for all pre-orders of dessert bars, cookies, candy bars, small treats, etc. This lead time excludes custom cakes.


What is the lead time needed for custom cakes?

We need 1-2 weeks lead time for all custom cake orders. During our busier holiday season & springtime, we require a 2 week minimum lead time. Even if you do not know the size of your party or the cake flavors you want, we recommend calling to simply lock in your event date with us, while custom details can be finalized later.


What kind of cakes do you make?

We specialize in all special event cakes. We cater to birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, baby showers, gender reveals, bridal showers, engagement parties, weddings, communions, confirmations, bar/bat mitzvahs, sweet 16s, etc. Check out our "Cakes" page for a full list of cake sizes & flavors.


I stopped by, but it looks like you're always closed. Why are you never open?

We are open Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, and we are inside the bakery baking daily. Almost 24/7, someone is inside working. So if you come by and it looks empty, it's not - give us a call or knock on our door. Someone should be able to assist you right away.


What bakery items do you offer in store?

We have a rotating menu each weekend of assorted crumb cakes, muffins, scones, breads, croissants, cookies, brownies, blondies, dessert bars, candy bars, truffles, bon bons, cupcakes, stuffed cupcakes, specialty cake slices, tarts, macarons, and more!


Do you have whole cakes available for purchase in store?

All of our full cakes are made-to-order, so if you're looking for a cake for any size event, call ahead to place a pre-order. We do not often have whole cakes available in our case for purchase, but we are ready to make you a cake upon request.


Do you have any gluten-free items?

We offer a flourless chocolate cake that is made-to-order upon request. We also have bon bons and macarons in store that are always gluten-free. Other than those 3 items, we do not have gluten-free baked goods. We are also not a certified gluten-free facility, so while these items are gluten-free, and we are extremely careful about cross-contamination, we must note that we are still a facility that bakes items processed with flour & gluten.


Where do you ship?

We ship our boxes anywhere in the United States.


How do you ship?

Each bar is individually heat-sealed in airtight bags to maintain quality and freshness. We ship them in our custom gift boxes via UPS - typically it takes 2-6 days depending on location.


How well do the products travel during shipping?

Our individually-wrapped bars ship well through all temperatures zones.


How long will your bars last? Do they require refrigeration?

Our bars do not require refrigeration and should always be consumed at room temperature. They are fresh for up to 4 weeks, and can also be refrigerated for up to 2 months or frozen for up to 6 months.


How should unfinished bars be stored?

In a zipped plastic bag or airtight container.


Where are these bars shipped from?

Our facility is in River Vale, New Jersey.


What’s in your bars?

We created our recipes with a traditional approach using classic baking ingredients like butter, eggs, flour, & sugar. We also bake with pure Madagascar Vanilla and whole bean roasted Belgian chocolate.


I’m sending a gift - do you include prices?

Prices are not listed on our gift packaging.
